real aboutWhat's fakenumberland? Glad you asked! My name is EL, and me and some internet acquaintances run an online music label called fakenumberland. Since 2021, we've been dedicated to releasing a smorgasboard of musical styles, like digital fusion, experimental electronica, avant-garde, and any other sorts of fun and interesting oddio. To achieve this, we collaborate with talented and passionate artists all around the world!We put a tremendous effort into bringing a fresh and imaginative attitude to every aspect of the label. For each release, we work closely with the musicians, placing utmost care into the presentation of their art. Additionally, we've done small runs of CD-r releases heavily embracing the DIY spirit, and organized excting URL events such as CHAOSMIC UTOPIA. We even run two sublabels, the tracker-oriented Infinite House and our lathe cut research division factory new numbers.Our financial policies: All profits on digital sales of solo albums go to the artists, unless specified to go elsewhere, like to a charity. Profits on CD'r's are split evenly between us and the artists. Compilation profits go to the label or the listed charity, and Full Discography bundle profits go to the label as well.FNL's release schedule can vary; at times we've released albums weekly, other times we might release only every month or two. It's none other than FAKENUMBERLAND, where imaginary mathematics are more than just conjecture, and the enjoyment of wacky and fun music is a foundational virtue.And we mean it: you'll find and hear all sorts of out-there music at the stacked record stores and groovy, hard-hitting nightclubs at the bustling Nightbus City (photo at top). You'll meet walking, talking equations bringing their creative fantasies to physical form in a matter of seconds at the Temple of Dreams. Drop by AM Station Block, the eclectic transportation hub, and you'll encounter all sorts of dimensional travelers dropping into fakenumberland, whether on business or just to have an amazing time.If you visit the Fraction Sanctuary, though, you'll find something very rare: one of the few earthlings able to access fakenumberland at will! Their name's EL, and by saying a secret magical phrase-- no, don't ask us what it is, it's secret! besides, it only works for him. apologies-- by saying this phrase, they can phase between Earth and fakenumberland in a snap. What does he use this power for? Why, isn't it obvious? He runs a netlabel!With the help and support of their friends on the internet, plus the occasional moral assistance of the locals (including nightclub entrepeneur Fisticuffs, cheery cellular hominid Silix, mellow pathogen Milo Tonin, and of course the label's esteemed ambassador, Cubey), EL is dedicated to helping bring some awesome music from awesome people to the web. The label, named fakenumberland (obviously after its location), has been proud to present a boatload of amazing projects over just a handful of years, and plan to keep the tunes coming! hehehello! can you hear me?? it's me, i'm cubey! that's right, it's me, and you've found my little web page. i'm the OFFICIAL ambassador for the fnl label AND world (el note: more or less like a mascot, eheh), and it's the funnest job in the world!i'm a funny lil screen head android floaty person born in a laboratory in who knows where...
